This is the group for you.
Come and be supported by other single moms who know what you are going through. This community strives to encourage you, connect you with resources and point you to the Hope that is in God’s Truths. Each week your children will be cared for by professionals, while you discuss life and the Bible with other single moms. Join the community and begin a journey of empowerment.
Location: First Baptist Bryan 3100 Cambridge Dr. Bryan (behind Wal-Mart on Briarcrest)
When: Every Wednesday from 6:00PM to 7:30PM
What: Weekly Bible study and support group open to ALL single moms.
Why come?
Support Group
A weekly time of discussion and Bible Study on relevant topics in the life of a single mom (i.e. feeling tired & overwhelmed, fears, money, career, etc.). Resources and opportunities in the community will also be shared. During this time, your children will spend a fun time with children their age (0-17yrs) led by trained child care and youth workers.
Mentorship
You will have the opportunity to be paired with another mom from the church community. She will be there as a loving friend and listening ear. Sometime you just need someone to talk to.
Church Support
As a single mom you wear many hats (i.e. repairman, dad, cook, driver, bookkeeper, etc.). Let the church take some of those tasks off your to-do list and/or help you grow in those areas. They are there to be family for you and your children.
