Legacy Program

A two-year development program for single moms and their children.

Our two-year program walks alongside single-mom families as they build a stronger, more stable future for themselves and their children.

Families may live at Peacock Place, our private duplex community, or participate while living in their own housing. Each mom is surrounded by a team that helps her:

  • Build financial skills and savings

  • Develop a sustainable career path

  • Heal through professional counseling

  • Grow in her identity in Christ

  • Develop essential life skills

The program is individualized to help each mom overcome the barriers that may be keeping her from true freedom, including trauma, unhealthy patterns, fear, or limiting beliefs.

We believe in a hand-up, not a hand-out. Moms are expected to work full-time (or part-time while pursuing education) and commit to a savings plan as they take ownership of their growth and future.

Our goal is to empower each mom to walk confidently into the future God has for her and her children.

If you are a single mom in need, we would love to hear more about you and your situation! It is important to us that we don’t waste your time, so the first step in our process is simply to reach out to us and describe your situation. 

Peacock is NOT an emergency shelter or rental/financial assistance program, and our application process takes a minimum of 2-3 weeks. 

If our program is not the best fit for you, we will be happy to refer you to other community resources that may be better suited to help. To determine if you are a potential match for our program, please fill out the form below and we will call you soon!

Peacock is not a resource for those who:

  • Are in need of emergency housing

  • Are currently drug/alcohol dependent

  • Are pregnant  

  • Are unable to work

  • Are younger than 18 years of age

  • Do not have children under the age of 18 CURRENTLY living with them

ATTENTION: Our waitlist is currently longer than a year. We have closed the waitlist and will reopen it when it is under a 6 months wait.
